Frequently asked questions
March to June is peak season for hill stations like Shimla and Manali, with pleasant weather and snow lingering at Rohtang and Solang. July to September is green but brings monsoon and occasional landslides. October to February is best for snow lovers, with December to February bringing fresh snowfall to Shimla, Manali and Kufri.
A Shimla and Manali tour fits comfortably in 6 to 7 days. Kasol and the Parvati Valley need 3 to 4 days, Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj 2 to 3, and the full Spiti circuit needs 8 to 10 days. We tailor the duration to the regions you want to cover.
For guaranteed snow, visit December to February when Shimla, Manali, Kufri and Solang Valley get fresh snowfall. Rohtang Pass holds snow for much of the year but stays closed in deep winter. Solang Valley is the most reliable spot for snow play near Manali.
Spiti is remote and high-altitude, so it needs more planning than the Shimla-Manali circuit. The roads are rough, altitude sickness is possible, and the season runs roughly May to October when passes are open. We build in acclimatisation and use experienced mountain drivers to keep it safe and comfortable.
Most travellers reach by road from Delhi or Chandigarh, with overnight Volvo buses to Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala. Bhuntar (Kullu), Shimla and Gaggal (Kangra) have small airports, and Kalka and Chandigarh are the nearest major railheads, with the scenic toy train running from Kalka to Shimla.
A 6 to 7 day Shimla-Manali package typically starts around 11,000 to 18,000 rupees per person on twin sharing, depending on season and hotel category. Offbeat circuits like Spiti cost more due to the terrain and longer duration. We always share a clear, itemised quote up front.
Yes. A limited number of permits are issued daily for Rohtang Pass and they must be obtained in advance online. We arrange the permit as part of your package. Note that the pass is closed in winter and the date it opens each year depends on snow clearance.
Very much so. Kasol, Tosh, Manali and McLeod Ganj are hugely popular with friends groups and backpackers for their cafes, treks and relaxed vibe. Treks like Triund, Kheerganga and Hampta Pass are favourites. We can plan a budget-friendly, flexible itinerary for groups.
Yes. Shimla, Manali, Kufri, Khajjiar and Dalhousie are ideal for families with easy sightseeing and toy train rides, while Manali and the Solang Valley are classic honeymoon favourites. We arrange comfortable stays and a relaxed pace to suit couples and elders alike.
The main hill stations are at moderate altitude and rarely cause problems. Higher spots like Rohtang Pass and especially the Spiti circuit reach over 4,000 m, where altitude sickness is possible. For Spiti we plan a gradual gain and rest days to help you acclimatise.
Carry warm layers year round, as mountain evenings stay cool even in summer. For winter or snow trips bring heavy woollens, gloves and waterproof shoes. Add a raincoat in monsoon, good walking shoes for treks, sunscreen and any personal medication.

Traveller reviews
Booked a 7 day Shimla and Manali trip for seven family members. The toy train ride, Solang Valley, the Hidimba temple and Rohtang snow were all covered at a comfortable pace. The driver was patient and skilled on the hill roads. A wonderful, well-organised family holiday.
Our Manali honeymoon was perfect. The riverside cottage, Solang paragliding and Old Manali cafes made it special, and the team added thoughtful touches. Clear pricing and quick replies throughout. Highly recommended for couples.
Kasol and Parvati Valley with five friends. Tosh, Kheerganga and the riverside cafes, all stays and the trek guide arranged. No hassles, transparent pricing, and a better quote than other operators. Already planning Spiti next.
Took my elderly parents to Shimla and Kufri. The sightseeing was gentle, the hotels were central and comfortable, and the pace suited them perfectly. No tiring back to back drives. The whole trip was handled with patience and care.
The Spiti Valley circuit was the trip of a lifetime. Key Monastery, Chandratal, Hikkim and Langza, with experienced mountain drivers and a sensible acclimatisation plan. Everything was transparent and as promised. Five stars without hesitation.
A dreamy Manali honeymoon. The Solang Valley adventure, a cosy cottage by the river and a relaxed pace made it so romantic. The team was responsive on WhatsApp and nothing felt rushed. Could not have asked for more.
Lovely Shimla and Manali trip overall. The toy train and Rohtang snow were highlights and the planning was good. One hotel was slightly dated but the team upgraded us when we mentioned it. Good service recovery and value.
As a solo female traveller I did a quiet trip to McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala. The monastery, the Tibetan cafes and Bhagsu falls were lovely, and I felt completely safe. The team checked on me daily. A calm, wonderful experience.
Did the classic Shimla, Manali and Kufri circuit over 7 days. The quote was clear and itemised with no surprise costs, the stays were good and the driver was excellent. A genuinely well-run and honest travel company.
